Recently, I had the pleasure of delivering a dance class for children in a local school in Carndonagh, County Donegal.

The aim of the session was to introduce pupils to the joy of dance in a fun, structured, and creative way. The children explored basic movement patterns, rhythm, coordination, and expression through music and guided exercises.

What stood out most was their enthusiasm and willingness to try new things. Dance is not just about steps - it is about confidence, self-expression, teamwork, and learning to move with awareness and joy.

At D.Light, we strongly believe that dance should be accessible to every child. School dance classes are a great way to encourage physical activity while also supporting creativity and emotional wellbeing. It can also be a great standout point for your school.

A big thank you to the school staff and little students in Carndonagh for such a warm welcome and positive energy throughout the day. It was a real pleasure to share my passion for dance with such engaged young participants.

If your school in Ireland, Co. Donegal is interested in hosting dance or acrobatics classes for children, D.Light, as the PE provider, offers tailored sessions designed to suit different age groups and abilities.
